When we started farming in 2008 it was our goal to eventually be self-sufficient and provide for our family. Through the years our goals and dreams have grown and developed into something more. Our desire to provide affordable Farm Fresh Foods to our family grew into passion, one that we wanted to share. We've created A Simpler Time Farm's Farm Fresh Food Memberships as a way to help deliver the same quality farm fresh foods to our neighbors and friends, giving everybody the opportunity to enjoy healthy food and receive the glorious benefits that Farm Fresh Foods provide us. Having the ability to help our neighbors secure the same fresh local food that we are growing for ourselves has become our mission. For us these Farm Fresh Food Memberships are all about providing affordable high quality Farm Fresh Foods to the community around us and developing relationships with those individuals to ensure that our farm is producing the food right here within our own neighborhood that folks want to give to their families! 

The guaranteed market that is created by our Farm Fresh Food Memberships enables us to strategically plan our growing seasons to better serve our neighbors and allows us to spend more time in the fields and pastures, growing great food for our community, friends and our family, rather than on the phone or computer marketing and you never know, by joining one of A Simpler Time Farm's Farm Fresh Food programs you may just discover a new favorite protein or some vegetables from our garden that are new to you; providing you with a great opportunity to try something new and possibly use one of our many recipes to help you make a new family favorite dinner!

 A Simpler Time Farm offers a variety of Farm Fresh Harvest Baskets that allow our customers to pay in advance for Farm Fresh Foods grown here on our farm (such as produce, meats, and eggs) that they will later receive from our farm throughout the harvest season (20 weeks from June to October).

By purchasing one of A Simpler Time Farm's Farm Fresh Harvest Baskets before the seasons starts, you are securing Farm Fresh Foods for your family and helping alleviate some of the upfront start-up costs and/or continued costs of the season ahead for our farm.  

1. Purchase your choice Harvest Basket before the season starts! Why do you need to sign up in advance? The pre-payment of these baskets helps to cover the costs of feeds, seeds, supplies, etc., that are needed to start the season, and knowing in advance how many families we are helping to feed allows us to maintain the right number of chickens to supply eggs, start our garden big enough to grow enough produce and ensures we raise enough livestock on our farm to provide food to your family, and others in the community as well. 
2. Pick up your Harvest Basket! During the next harvest season (20 weeks from June - October) you will receive your choice Harvest Basket weekly, bi-weekly or monthly (you select frequency when you sign up) filled with fresh eggs, fresh produce, and/or fresh meats from our farm. 
3. ENJOY YOUR FARM FRESH FOODS!

*The contents of the weekly, bi-weekly and monthly Harvest Baskets may vary depending on the type and the size of the harvest baskets you have chosen for your family, also on the growing season and what is in harvest that week!

A Simpler Time Farm's Livestock Shares are the perfect solution for folks who are unable to house and raise livestock of their own, whether due to space or knowledge, whatever your reason, we are here to help ensure that you have Farm Fresh Meats for your meals all year long. Share holders select one of our available A Simpler Time Farm Livestock Shares to purchase, when it's harvest time we take the animals to the local butcher with a list of your choice cuts, and then you come to the farm to pick up your meats when they are ready for you.

Most Livestock Shares are available in three options: whole, half or quarter.

1. Purchase your choice Livestock Share! A Simpler Time Farm's Livestock Shares are available for all animals on our farm. Values are determined based on selected animal.
2. Pick up your meats when they are ready! Harvest time on our farm happens a few times throughout the year, depending on the livestock. You select the time that works best for you and your freezer if that option is available for the Livestock Share you choose.

A Simpler Time Farm's Farm Friends Members will receive a membership card that can be used for future purchases on anything in our farmstore and giftshop; in person or online, whatever is convenient for our Farm Friends! Farm Friends Members play a vital role in our farm by allowing us to invest in new tools, equipment and infrastructure when it's needed the most, even adding new livestock to grow our herds enabling us to provide more Farm Fresh Foods to the community around us.

When you sign up for one of A Simpler Time Farm's Farm Fresh Food Memberships you are paying in advance for a share of our farm's upcoming harvests; whether that's produce, eggs, meat, baked goods or other items available from our farm, there is something for everyone. And because we understand that it's not always easy to make huge payments upfront, many of our Farm Fresh Food Memberships are designed to be easier on the bank by offering the option of monthly payments for the foods and/or services we will be providing in the future. Whether we are gardening or growing out livestock on our farm for your family to enjoy, our programs are designed in such a way to make it easier on us all, as we all share the great benefits of eating local Farm Fresh Foods!
